Iziq is the Youth Board President, currently a senior at Lakeside High School. Within our organization and at school, he holds leadership positions in various academic clubs, including Co-Captain of Science Olympiad, Vice President of the International Baccalaureate Programme, and Vice President of Science National Honor Society.

In academic competitions, Iziq has been an active member of his school's Science Bowl team and was honored with a nomination to The Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) for Mathematics in 2022. He also had the privilege to participate in Stanford University's Science, Technology, and Reconstructive Surgery (STaRS) internship this past 2023 summer, where he engaged in research projects and contributed to a comprehensive introductory user manual for a widely-used 3D micro-computerized tomography visualization software.

Athletically, Iziq serves as the Varsity Team Captain for track and cross country, achieving success at local, state, and national levels, including breaking his school's all-time record for the 4x800 meter race.

During his free time, Iziq enjoys spending time with friends, playing tennis, and exploring his passion for cooking. While he's still deciding on his future career path, he's considering pursuing a degree in medicine and/or business. Iziq's involvement in our Youth Board leadership program since second grade showcases the positive impact of our organization in nurturing growth and leadership qualities.
